so as of now my car is on a fp 18g with a built bottom end 3 inch exhaust front mount, and the basic bolt ons, spiking 30psi faqlling to around 27-28 area, using rc1000cc injectors and a wally 255 pump. i have link 2.f and maft as well. I will be bringing the car to the track on dec 14th and im just wondering where i should go next with the car? should i get cams? intake manifold? spray? or just leave the setup until i go bigger turbo? don't get me wrong i am happy with the car for sure and i know it is going to reach my goals i set for the car when i started so now i'm looking ahead for the car. i know the car has plenty of room for gains so what do you think will give me the most help as far as 1/4 mile racing or just plain old hp.

I had the exact same set up on mine, except I have a stock bottom end, and running ethanol, on 23psi I ran high 12s but its all in the tune. With forged pistons u should be able to run some relatively high timing even on pump. On e85 I was at 30° adv at redline no knock. Idk if u can go that far on pump but I would play around with that.

On another note, I'd go with cams next...

I would say cams too but the choice of cams will probably depend on if you are going to do a stroker build and if you want aggressive cams, you'll want to think about getting news valve springs etc.

Cams definitely, when I had my 20g I noticed a huge difference. It really opens up some power up top, the car pulled pretty good through 7k+ RPM.

sorry guys forgot to mention im on e85 and have no plans what so ever to go stroker. hope it helps

I'd do some cams then. Depending on what turbo you are going to get you may need bigger injectors and another fuel pump. Cams would be the best choice in my opinion now if you wanted more power with both setups.

little update. since last time i posted i got supertech dual valve springs and retainers, new head gasket, and and some bc 272's. should have them installed this upcoming weekend and hopefully dyno tune
