1G where is the speed sensor located.

Hey guys where does the speed sensor plug into the transmission. I'm really having trouble finding this location.

im not 100% on a 1g but most speed sensors are down from the bellhousing on the top of the transmission towards the firewall.

On a 1G the speedo is driven from a cable that screws into the trans toward the back, near the bell housing. The ECU gets it's vehicle speed signal from a reed switch that lives inside the gauge cluster and it's output goes to pin 18.
