Does an automatic and manual use the same speed sensor? I broke mine pulling the transmission.

The sensor is the same, the gear is different. You can swap the gear from your old on though. Also The 7th gen galant's use the same sensor.

not entirely true...i just used one from a hyundai sonota i believe n its working perfect no changes...
