I am trying to replace the CAS on my 95 ET AWD and I can't seem to locate it! I have a Chilton's Manual but the diagram is very confusing:mad: ...anyone help? PLEASE!!!!

:talon:

Keep in mind you will be dealing with timing as well. If the diagram for the CAS sensor is confussing, you may be getting over your head as the timing diagram is a bit more. As stated, the sensor is behind the intake cam, and the gear will need to be removed. You will know by the plate on the cam gear.

The CAS is located behind the cam gear on 7 bolt motors. You will have to remove the cam gear to get to it. It is held on by 2 10mm bolts and has about 8 or 10 inches of wire on it before the plug. Good luck with getting it started.

Just a FYI.............on the 97-99 4G63 (which is a 7 bolt) the CAS is located on the passenger side, end of intake cam.....NOT behind the cam gear.
