Where Is The Front O2 Sensor located on a 4G63

Thanks for all the replies everyone I found the front O2 sensor but I think it's been jacked up by the previous owner if you could take a look at this screenshot

Now next question is where this should plug into.

Should the 02 sensor follow the green line I drew or the blue line?

Looks like I found where it should be in the green but it is not plugged in there :hmm:

The o2 sensor wires are the ones that attach to the manifold head shield, assuming you have the heat shield still.

Thanks but I don't see where they connect to the head shield

Can you circle where it would be?

Look at the other pics posted. You do not have the manifold heat shield. Your wires have been extended and ran along the radiator. i would find a new manifold heat shield and redo that wiring. If you are having an issue with the o2 sensor than it could be an issue in that wire job.

For a STOCK factory setup, it is that heat protected casing wire on standoffs that goes across the top of the exhaust manifold shield (in your provided link) which ends up where your blue line shows under the thermostat. Here's some pics. However as Brianwheat said you don't have the shield so they ran them across the radiator fans (see the tie wrap) presumably spliced into the same wires in the harness as the original one that goes to the ECU.

Thanks guys I'll be changing it soon.

Just curious if these 02 Sensors go bad, will the car idle poorly and die once the engine colds?

Because that's what mine is doing right now and I was told it's the front O2 sensor but someone else told me today these things hardly have to do with that problem.

I've attached some logs if any one experienced with Link v3 can take a look super appreciated guys.

Edit: Seems the attachment feature isn't working I've uploaded the logs to this file sharing site click slow download it's free

Once the engine colds?

Are you throwing any 02 sensor codes? Or any codes at all for that matter?

What's your mileage like? You can also test it with a decent volt meter.

Ya that could be your problem the front o2 is what the ecu uses to make adjustments to idle/cruise. Is your engine light on?

Ya my CEL used to be on I turned it off using Link and put it to only go on if my coolant goes too high.

I got some logs right here if you can take a look at them I'd really appreciate any input I just spent so much money on everything and I want this to be be right.

What are the codes? I wouldn't ignore the engine codes. A lot of the times they tell you exactly what's wrong. Your log looks like your missing a lot of data and your locked in open loop mode. Go to misc under config and uncheck it

One log should be in open loop the next log should be closed loop, I did that so you can compare.
