I'm replacing the inner/outer tie rods on both sides tomorrow on my 2g. I need to know do i set the toe in or out and how much, before i take it to the alignment shop. It's about a 20-25 mile drive to the shop. I need to be able to get there without it pulling all over the road. I appreciate the help in advance.

When you take off the outer tie rod ends, count how many turns it takes and install it the same amount of turns. That will get you close enough that you won't have any problems on the drive there.

Put the steering wheel straight. Adjust the tires until they are about straight forward. Then measure the distance between the two tires at the front and at the rear of them. Adjust until the front and rear are equal. Drive and go get a real alignment.
