Okay, so I ordered new two new OEM tie rod ends and one inner tie rod from JNZTuning, before I call them tomorrow and complain I was wondering if anyone knew if they were supposed to come with new castle and lock nuts. The catalog showed that they did, I think?

JNZ Tuning Online- OEM Mitsubishi Parts

I ordered "1", which to me indicated that the outer tie rod comes with a new castle nut, cotter pin and the end joint/boot. I can't install them because the outer tie rods on my car have a different thread type.

I think it's kind of odd that they wouldn't come with the castle nuts and it's really annoying because I waited about two weeks for these and still can't install them. Am I right in assuming they were supposed to come with those parts?

Every one I have seen has had the castle nut with it and I have no reason to believe that this would be any different. I would contact them and they will answer your question and make it right with you for sure. Try to approach them politely instead of just complaining and it will go a long way.

What about the inner tie rod (3) and the bellows boot (2)? I was expecting the inner tie rod to come with the locking not to hold the outer in place and the bellows boot to come with the clamps. Neither came with anything.

Most inner tie-rod ends come with a jam nut/locking nut, but don't usually come with the bellows boot. You should be able to reuse the old bellows boot with just a new zip-tie to hold it over the new inner tie-rod end.

I called JNZtuning and they said the tie rod ends were superseded by newer parts that don't come with the nuts and cotter pins. They have to be ordered separately. The part number for the castle nut is: MB122128

I guess this can be marked as resolved. =\
