Just installed boost, a/f and blye gauges now my needles and all of my other lights are out...I checked the fuse, the reverse lights and the tail lights and every thing is ok...any other ideas?

you will definately need a new one. it has to be replaced for the lights to work again

You do not necessarily need a new one.

Pull the dimmer switch out. Take the plug off, look for the black wire with a yellow stripe on it. You find that and you can either splice into it and ground the wire or get a paper clip and jump it between the black wire w/yellow strip and a black ground wire which are right next to eachother. The purpose is to ground out the black w/yellow wire. It keeps the dimmer switch at full intensity.

There's a thread around here if you need picture reference but it really isn't that complex.

while that would work. Its a very cheap fix to just get another switch from a junkyard or fleabay and maintain the functionality of the switch
:talon:

I'd also recommend that, but in the mean time if you drive at night and you don't want to shine your cell phone to see how fast your going this is a quick fix. Think of what I said as a patch.

thanks guys...apperently i forgot to plug it in...duh...i found that AFTER I paid 30 bucks for one of ebay...if anyone needs one...ill sell it for 15 shipped

Keep it as a spare. You may very well need it again someday. Better to have it and not need it then need it and not have it.
