Interior lights

My 90 TSi interior lights went out and I cannot seem to remove the frong covers from the A/C controls nor the bezel aroung the cluster to check for shortages andy suggestions. Also is it possibly just a fuse.

if the backlight for your dimmer knob isn't working then quit messing with your hvac - it's a fuse or bad wire or short. Always check the fuses first... ALWAYS.
