Interior lights ?'s

I'm installing indiglo guages, I need to know though can they be hooked up to the dimmer switch like the regular gauges are?

If so how?

Then on replacing the bulbs in the hvac, cigrette lighter, and tray with leds, Do I have to put resistors in along with cutting out the existing bulbs black connecter it plugs into or can I just plug the led's into the black connector and have them work?

i dunno about the dimmer switch the original one...but i would think that you would need the inverter and stuff that comes with the gauges anyways so i dont think you can still use the stock dimmer...and about the leds in the hvac and stuff.....you cant just use the black pieces that the bulbs come in...doesnt work unless you drill holes in it and then poke your led in there...but when it comes to just pushing an led in there...you cant do it...and yes you do have to have resistors in every led you put in your car...if not...then it burns out...your car lights are basically 12 volt and think about it...if you take a led and put it on a 9 volt battery without a resistor.....it wont be long before it burns out..

Thank you very much, I just dinked around with the first led to see if it would work. With that one I just plugged it into the black connector it worked. So I tried with the second and they worked for a second but then stopped. So wondered it that might be the case.

So unfortunatly that means I got to do this on the weekend when I have more then half an hour to do it in
