.0015 is way too tight for my taste, especially doing it with plastic gauge, what happened to the motor that was there before.

Not really a secret it is called AMS but I am in Albuquerque, NM, and I am sure there are shops in your part of the country that are capable of precise work, I have had to take a few motors back because they were on the tight side upon assembly/blueprint, problem was corrected and together they went. Nobody is perfect.
