Where can you find full urethane motor mounts?

I want to buy urethane motor mounts, but I want the full mount rather than inserts. Place racing mounts sound like the best, but I guess they're out of business or have been for a while or something. I've heard Prothane makes them, but all the DSM mod sites just have the inserts listed. I looked at Prothane's web page and couldn't find them for our application. Does Energy Suspension make a full mount set? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Justin

why do you need full mounts? the fastest dsm's run the prothane inserts. they are hard enough.

Inserts would work, but I've got my engine out of my car, and if they're available I would rather run the full mounts than inserts. Call it personal preference.

on a 1g 3 of the mounts from prothane are full replacements, just burn out the stock rubber cut the metal ring and press in the prothan 2 piece and metal sleeve, due to the way it designed it does not take much effort to get them in. The other is a insert, but if you want it a little more solid, go to mitsu spend $28.00 for a new mount, scuff the new mount wiht a bit of sand paper, and clean well, once dry fill the gaps with 3M windowweld, and put the prothane inserts in, use a C clamp (a 8 incher will do) then 2 pieces of wood wrapped with saran wrap for support and to help take it all apart. then let it sit a day or 2, pull it all apart and use a exacto to clean off the excess window weld. that is about the most solid mounts you are going to get. Have mine that way.

ok i understand now. however i have never seen full urethane inserts. You should fab up some billet aluminum mounts and use them in conjunction w/ the prothane inserts.

Thanks spoolup, that's exactly the answer I was looking for. I was under the impression that the Prothane mounts were not full mount replacements.

can always put polyurethane liquid in between the mount and insert. Not sure if thats exactly what its called. Its kinda like caulk. A shop did it for me so i dont know the exact info on it.

nope check this pic out of what you get.

See just the top set are inserts only. Perpare for a bit of a mess, and a good awful smell when trying to burn out the old ones. I also have this pic of my mounts. On a 2G the front and rear are inserts and the sides are replacemenets.

https://home.comcast.net/~utspoolup/spoolup3.jpg you can see the tranny mount next to the BOV and the timing mount

https://home.comcast.net/~utspoolup/spoolup4.jpg can barley see the front one thru the MONSTER turbo, haha, but I love this little guy.
