vibration with Poly urethane motor mounts

It is true that urethane mounts transmit much more feedback from the engine into the body. Most people find the vibrations tolerable.

The vibrations can be quite harsh at low rpms but they tend to disappear as rpms go up. On my car the vibrations went away at 950-1,000 rpms so this is what I have my idle adjusted to.

ok thats all that i needed to know thanks for the help guys, he also said that it wasnt so ad untill he installed the drivers side one, i might keep em in or out, either or the car is worth it

Polyurethane mounts rock. Yes, you do get a lot more vibration, but then again, you get more vibration when you remove the balance shaft. It's taking comfort-oriented 'slop' out of the stock parts, and putting in stuff that will be less likely to break, or destroy other parts (like the flex section of your downpipe). You can also feel what the engine is doing a lot more clearly.. it's gotten to the point where I don't rely on my knock counts as much (damn rattly valvecover baffles) as feeling for knock with my left foot against the dead-pedal. Once you get to know what it feels like, usually you can spot it with little problem.
