Urethane motor mounts and vibration.

hey guys i just got done with a 420a rebuild, stock nothing special as of yet. baby steps here. i purchased urethane mounts. 2 solid sides and 2 inserts. it is normal for them to shake the living shyt out of car? well its not that bad but lots of vibrations in the cab

Yes - the purpose of the soft rubber factory mounts is to absorb engine vibrations, to keep them from entering the cockpit.

You can keep most of the benefits of urethane mounts with slightly less vibration by keeping the rubber in the "side" mounts, and the urethane in the roll stoppers.
