Where can I find a 2g Mitsubishi GSX Shell...

Hey guys. I've got a 1g eagle talon tsi AWD and I want to swap my set-up into a 2g Eclipse GSX shell. Where can I find a 2g GSX Shell?

Correct me if im wrong but a 2g is a 2g asisde from the motor set ups arent they. I bough a bunch of stuff for my rs from a gs and i have every wire and bolt hole on my car that it had, so the change over was pretty damb straight forward. So imo any 2g 4g63 car should work from what i have gathered from my swaps. I know that i could of used the power doors and the whole rear end assebly for the disc swap from a 4g cause they are the same, at least a gst anyway. Hope some of this may help but again i cant garentee it

Awd is different than fwd, rs/gs are both fwd, so all the parts are interchangeable. You might want to try craigslist for a shell

2nd gen RS/GS are both 420a's not just FWD, everything is interchangable within those two. The GST/X are both 4g63 so motor parts interchange, but not trannys. All interior, exterior, and brake setups can interchange within all 2nd gens. FWD suspensions can be used on both just AWD is different.

That what i mean, as long as he were to get a 2nd gen shell that had a 4g63 in it he could use what he has to put it together right. The drivetrain will just bolt up to what ever wont it fwd or awd arent they technicly the same just one has a rear dif and what not

My brother has one here in Nebraska but its a Tsi. Motor, tranny and everything. Motor has a knock, he picked it up for 2k, because he was gonna build it but decided on building his GST.

I have a '97 gst and did some searching in the forum about an awd swap and all the guys just said "sell it and buy a gsx". The cost for parts and fabrication work (motor mounts, custom driveshaft, torque converter, cutting into the body to relocate the gas tank as it is on the opposite side on a gsx, plus fabricating the suspension to accomodate...) would just be more expensive and time consuming, not to mention frustrating
