When can i post somewhere else!!

i looked through one of the FAQs but i didnt find the answer. i cant seem to post in any other forum. case in point, the diesel thread, which i have some good input on, but i cant post....

We all have to pay our dues. Thats why this forum is one of the best I have seen. I like they way they have things set up. Sure it takes a little while to get known but I have learned so much in the process it is very worth it to me. And I thought I knew everything when I joined. Thats what the problem Is everyone thinks the same thing. There are some exceptions to the rule, but in general its better this way.

but that doesnt mention anything about posting rights. only thing i found was 25 posts and 30 days membership to be a proven member.

Are the FAQ pages written in sandscript now?

"Once you have been a member for 30 days, you've posted a total of 25 posts in the Newbie forum/Problem Diagnosis forum/Tech Articles section, and you've racked up 10 reputation points, you will be automatically moved from New Member status to Proven Member status. "
