Wheel & Tire Fitment - Contradicting Answers?

Hi everyone. I did some searching, but couldn't find anything with the same specs as this wheel that I want to get. Size - 18 X 7.5
Bolt - 5 X 114.3
Offset - +35

I plan on buying 225 40 18 size tires to put on them...

I don't want to "roll" the fenders or anything, but I really want these rims.

Will I have any fitment, performance, rubbing issues with this setup??

I've asked several friends and posted on another site.... 3 people say "NO", 4 people say "YES".
I know dsmtuners won't fail me!!!!

(just my .02 cents) They should be fine but, I not to crazy about the offset.

Thanks for the reply! What's wrong with the offset? Is it a cosmetic issue or a performance issue?

Here's my .02...make your own conclusion. I have a set of 17x7.5 wheels with a 38mm offset. I run 245/40's on them. The last time I used them I was running stock springs and they never rubbed. I might have been concerned if I had it lowered. You have a +3mm greater offset, but your tire will be recessed 10mm compared to mine {(245-225)/2]=10} so total, they will be recessed 7mm more than were mine (10-3=7). If you're running stock springs you should be okay. If you're running a 1" drop it could possibly rub, anything lower I would be scared of. Oh yeah the front is the major problem, not the rear.

It's still stock suspension, not lowered. Since I'm buying them off eBAY I wanted to be sure they'll work. eBAY returns suck, and I'd have to pay shipping both ways!

I assumed they would fit until my buddies said they would rub in the front.
