So I've been searching on here for the last few hours and just can't find a "will this fit thread" I just got a flat and need to replace quick. Have a set of 205/70/15 available will they fit my 2g gsx?

70 series seems alittle tall if you ask me. What's the rim size and width your using? Also make sure all 4 are the same size or you could have issues.

That is a 26.3" tall tire. What I have read 26" is max on a 2g.

No

Assuming you have stock wheels, 95-96 came with 16x6 wheels. 97-99 came with 17x6.5 wheels

OP: what rim size and offset do you want to put these tires on?

15in rims will fit on a 2g GSX with stock brakes. I use 195/65/15 winter tires for Rallycross. My gravel tires are also 15s (most common rim size) and are likely as tall or taller than a 205/70/15.

Factory size tires used on the 2GB GSX are 215/50/17 x 6.5 +46mm OS.

What you're proposing is 0.8" taller making the height 26.3". It technically clears the wheel well and the control arms, assuming the offset and rim width is the same as OE spec.

If you do one, do them all to match.

Thank you all for the responses guess I should clarify a little more I have stock 17's but they are bad rims and all I have a set of 15" rims that's what I was asking if they would clear the stock 2g brakes up front. Not sure about width of rim or off set just know that they have correct bolt pattern
