Wheel Studs

So i went to mitsubishi and got new wheel studs..

But i went to try to put them on today and i couldn't get the new ones in..
They are like to big?

I tried doing the washer and old lug nut trick and everything.. and nothing. i can't pull it through, if you look where the head of the stud is trying to go into the back, its kinda like a imprint like it is to big..

I can put the old one back in with ease, takes like 2 hits with hammer, but the new one.. no luck..

I'm confused here guys, could it be that they are the wrong ones?? Are they're different sizes? like aftermarket different sizes?

I would take them back and bring an old one with you to match up. Those clearly do not match at all :/

that's not the right one. go to pep boys and ask them, they had the exact ones in stock and they were like $1.79 each.

Or Oreily's. They stock every kind of wheel stud you can think of. The one in the pic looks way off.

+1 appear the new ones are too large. I got some standard ones at Advance Auto a while back. Actually I still have a ton left since I bought an entire box

The knurl diameter on those are different.

What was the part number of the studs they gave you?

Also, do you have OEM or aftermarket hubs? This will make a difference if you're able to use OEM studs or not.

they are prob aftermarket hubs =(... but i bought OEM studs from the dealer.. So other stores should have them?

Yes, I would try an auto parts store, as OEM studs typically don't fit in aftermarket hubs.

Or Oreily's. They stock every kind of wheel stud you can think of. The one in the pic looks way off.

This ^ Just bring the original with you to Oreily's and they'll match em' up. Aftermarket hub or not.
