Hey I broke my last good wheel stud on the driver side front. I bought new ones from napa, and Im trying to figure out how to get the hub off. the car does have abs also. I took off the wheel, caliper, caliper bracket, and the rotor, but i just cant get the hub off. Any help? Thanks

It's easy. First you obviously have to take of the wheel, then remove the brake caliper (two bolts holding the caliper bracket to the wheel assembly), and remove the brake rotor. One you get that far, simply take a hammer (the bigger the better) and pound the stud out by striking it dead on.

It'll eventually start sliding out the back. After that, take the new stud and put it in through the back - just like the old one came out. Finally, take a lug nut, thread it on the stud, and tighten it down to pull the stud all the way through.

Now take the lug off, and put your rotor, caliper, and wheel back on as normal.

well, thats great for other people, but I have abs. You cannot just pound the studs out the back and put a new on in. There is a collar that the abs uses on the front, which is flush mounted against the hub.

Yes, it does, because you need to pull the hub off of the spindle. The ABS collar goes between the hub and the spindle, so you cant just pound the studs out the back and put new ones threw. Does anyone with ABS on their car know how to do this? Thanks
