Recently purchased my first 2G DSM. All the car needed was new brakes pads and rotors. Tried to remove the passenger side wheel and got no movement. I've kicked it, let PB blaster sit over night, tried the piece of wood with sledge hammer trick, loosened lug nuts and went driving turning the steering wheel to pop it loose and still have gotten nothing. I don't want to use heat because the wheel is alloy. Any suggestions?? Thanks..
 
If you are having this much trouble with it, perhaps you could take it to a tire shop to have a "tire rotation". Make sure you mark the trouble rim so you know it was changed. I am sure they will find a way to remove it.
+ 1 on this if you have too much trouble getting the tire off. i know of a few tricks to get really stuck tires off but im not talking because rim damage in some way will almost be guarenteed
 
when i worked at perfection we had someone come in ( im assuming because of a similar situation ) for a rotate and re balance. he had spoked alloys and we took a 4x4 chunk of wood like 2 or more feet and ratchet strapped it to the spokes real well, like 2 straps per side, and had it real high up in the air with the 4x4 oriented with more over hang on one side/flush with tire on the other. pointed the chunk straight down and smacked it real hard with a very big sledge. sounds real rough, but we ran it on the balancer and it spun as straight as the others. besides, if we would have bent it, im pretty sure perfection would have replaced it, so just take it to scwabb's or perfection to do it
 
I ended up having to take the car to the shop and got them to get the wheel off. They stated they had to take several breaks and that it was by far the most stubborn wheel they had encountered. All was not lost, I now have a nice collection of hammers and I learned a new lesson. Take a jack when you buy older cars, and make sure you can take the wheels off of them.
