Ok, so i took my 91 GSX to my mechanic to replace the front rotors and wheel bearings because I'm hearing a grinding noise from the front tires, also i can feel it in the steering wheel. So he said ok but its gonna be a little bit expensive because he need to press the bearings in. He called me after a couple of hours and told me that my wheel hub assembly is broken, broken. He said that it is the cause of the noise and vibration.

How could it break?

A couple of months ago he asked if he can borrow my axle since he was a friend and my mechanic, not to mention that i bought it from them, i said OK. So there he took it off. He said that he will replace it with a brand new one instead with warranty. After a couple of weeks later, I needed my car, I asked him if he already replace the axle and he said yes. I took it home, right away as I was pulling out from their garage, I already felt the vibrations and noises from the front passenger side of the car, where he took the axle off, and its getting worst upon accelerating and decelerating. So there is the story.

I just needed to ask this though it sound stupid and moronic,
CAN A WHEEL HUB ASSEMBLY BREAK even IF THE CAR IS NOT RUNNING? LITERALLY NOT MOVING AN INCH.

Is he full of crap and I'm just being fooled?

He could have screwed it up pressing the bearing out, I've replaced my front bearings myself because i have access to a press where I work. Unless you set the hub in press the right way it can easily break it. Just my input.

Pics of the hub? It would make it easier to tell if your being screwed over.

Maybe he had to pound on the old axle to get it out before and damaged the bearings.
You have a good point, that could have caused the vibration in the beginning. But even if he pounded the axle hard enough to damage the bearing, (probably would also mushroom the axle). That shouldn't have damaged the hub & knuckle assembly.

OP, check DSMGraveyard for a hub & knuckle, when i broke mine a few months back I picked one up for $50.
