So I've been working on replacing the CV Axles and hub assemblies on my 96 RS. The drivers side went easy, took about an hour. The passenger side is a different story. The hub is not budging at all. I've used heat, hammers, 5 ton jaw puller, and the bolts through the stud holes to press against the knuckle. This is my only car so I only get a few hours a night to try this before I have to put it back together for work. Well last night the wheel bearing portion on the hub side separated, and the back half is still seized in place. It's not seized to the axle, I'm able to remove that, but I can't get at the bearing good enough at that angle (Laying under the car in the driveway) with a hammer without risking damaging something. Soon as I noticed it was sperating I used the axle nut to press everything back together to get to work this morning. If I grab a 120psi pancake compressor and an air hammer, and go at it from behind where the axle would slide through is it likely to knock it out, Or would that be a waste of time and money?

I've never seen one stuck into the knuckle that hard, usually it's the axle becoming one with the hub, not usually the bearing housing seized into the knuckle. at this point ,you said the axle isn't seized, remove the whole knuckle from the car and pound it out from the back side.

So the best way here is to put the bolts back in and whack the bolts to loosen the bearing.

When I used to offer galant knuckles alot came in with seized besrings and this was the only way to free them. Sure i was off the car and alot more room to swing a hand sledge type hammer but its the onky way to really free it up without heat. Doing it on the car in a tight space will be tiring and annoying for you.

Another option is if you can get the axle out via removing the top arm then use a sliding hammer in the axle hole and the sliding hammer will help also. Use some freeze spray to shock the knuckle and bearing.

1 important detail is everything you put back on make sure its covered in coller seize! Your life will be much better even 5+ years down the line adding this

I ended up grabbing that Maddox bearing driver set from Harbor freight. Moving the axle out of the way, I was able to smash it out with that tool, and a ridiculous amount of WD. Can't believe I haven't bought this set sooner. Thanks for the help guys!
