Wheel fitment question..

This site may earn a commission from merchant affiliate links, including eBay, Amazon, and others.

Im not sure of the offset, but since your going to a 9 inch wheel, I would assume a lower offset would be needed. Not crazy lower, but lower.

I always use this site to give me some raw data on what would be changing. Always helps out.

BTW, I almost picked up that same set. Love that style!

to be honest, i am clueless with wheel sizes...

I have no idea how to work that calculator..

Any ideas anyone?

I highly doubt that offset would work.

For reference, I put in my current wheels (17x8 +38) and the wheels you're looking at. This is the results from the calculator:

The clearance from stut housing to the inside of the wheel will be 17mm LESS
The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 9mm

What that's saying is the distance between the wheel and the knuckle will be 17mm less than it is with the current set (i.e. the new wheel will be 17mm closer to the knuckle). It's also saying the new wheel will stick out from the fender 9mm further than the current wheel.

For reference, here's what I actually measured clearance wise to the knuckle (both 2ga and 2gb knuckles) on the 17x8 +38 wheels I mentioned above, which backs my first sentence of this post.

Also keep in mind your tire choice will have an affect as well as some section widths vary in the same size tire, ride height, and camber all come into play to some extent.
