well, i ended up getting the bearing off, but i've run into another problem
the bearing is a whole lot different than the stock one at first glance. The shaft doesn't want to come out of the stock one, and i'm lost. Anybody have any insite on this?

Dunno how much this will help you at this point but the shop I took mine to left the hub on the car and used a slide hammer to pound it out. Maybe one of the auto parts stores near you has one you can rent. Good luck! That looks like it's gonna be a PITA.

I'm really sleepy so I could be way off but it looks like you have a new front hub and an old rear one.
What's the part number for that new hub? CAPS only shows the rear hub being available as the whole assembly (Hub, bearings, seals, flange, washer and nut)

yeah, i just had my friend who has owned a talon for a while now take a look at it. he said its either a front bearing or a rear off a FWD bearing. Went to Lordco and they double checked the part number, it was correct -- The computer was wrong. Going back in tomarrow to get all sorted out. The guy at Lordco said it only came as an assembly, but with his computer...I duno...Its only available as a whole assembly? Cuz all i need is the inner, outer bearings, and seals. One more thing, you said it came with the hub, bearings, seals, flange, washer and nut, but where does the axle shaft fit in?

I think the axle and hub are one piece.

For a '91 AWD the part numbers look to be:

33103 - MB290175 Ball Bearing 16x58
33105 - MB569972 Ball Bearing 72x17-35
33108 - MB290428 Inner Cover
33109 - MB393803 Outer Cover
33138 - MB668573 Rotor
34068 - MB393807 Dust Seal

well, I ordered the bearings, but they're gonna be a while and i have to go get my car inspected for an insurance claim. I decided to leave the bearings in there (don't worry, i didn't remove them in the first place) put the hub back on, tightened everything down and and went for a drive. Well, the vibration virtually gone...a slight humming from my rear when i turn corners/change lanes on the highway, but barely audible. Had a friend in the car, he didn't notice it. Can anybody shed some light on what may have happpen?

When you reassembled it and torqued the nut in the axle cup to spec it probably changed the symptoms. I went through the same thing with a front bearing, it changed noise after replacing the axle and I had trouble pinpointing the sound. In my case, although the symptoms improved by retightening the axle nut, the bearing was already gone and needed to be replaced.

I got my new bearings today.....and by comparison the old bearings are just as tight as the new bearings...basicly all I did was remove the hub/axleshaft from the bearings and then put it back together. The bearings appear to be fine and now I have no symptoms what so ever, i can't even rock the wheel back and forth and hear a click like I used to... I think i'll leave it til my car gets looked at, and see if the symptoms return. If not, i can get my 100+ dollars back for 2 bearings and an oil seal.

i have the worst hummming coming form my rear drivers side of the car i know it is the bearing how do i know what one it is how can i tell if it is the outher or the inner can some one just tell me ware to get them to thanx alot guys....

Symptoms returned....glad I held onto the bearings. Got them in and the dirvers side is just fine.....just my luck the passenger side is going now  but it can wait. As for what you need, here in Victoria all the parts stores use SFK bearings. The part numbers for the bearings for a GSX are GRW163 and GRW165 for the inner and outer bearing. The oil seal is Chicago Rawhide (SFK) is 14054. This is the biggest PITA, but doable, just be patient.
