Hey everybody i did a search for ecu + and nothing poped up. So does anybody know whats up with it? It seems to be a great piggyback. And this would aloww us dsmers to tune without haveing to get a 95 eprom computer. So anybody out there let me know what you think it can be found at WWW.machv.com or www.ecuplus.com. Thanks everyone.

All you're gonna hear from this website is "bite the bullet and get DSMlink". If you know your stuff i'd say go with megasquirt, it's cheap, a full standalone, and runs the 4g63 like a champ.

I am thinking of ditchin my SAFC for ecu+. Its rather cheap, works well for my purposes and have all info I ever need to make my car the best it can be under my circumstances( budgetracer hehehe).
If I go link I would have to buy a eprom-ecu + the link=much more money for some stuff I might not really need over the ecu+.

So for a DD street car with following mods, would ECU+ be a good coice?:

MHI EVO III turbo ( from a EVO III car, no garbage copy)
EVOIII exmanifold
EVOIII O2 housing
3" downpipe
3" exhaust system all the way to the back
680cc injectors
190/255 pump
FMIC with 2,5" short route pipings
2g MAS
Hardintake pipe
K&N open airfilter
Also all gauges inside the car + other mods but those are the relevant ones I guess :)

THis will be used as a daily driver and also for some trackdays from time to time, both the quarter and some circuitracing for fun. I just want to be able to tune it in a little bit easier then with the SAFC/ logger combo.

Im not looking to run anything too big or too powerfull. I will be putting on a hahn super 16g and supporting fuel mods and thats it. Im not going to go any bigger than that and from the reading it seems this would be great for someone like me who isnt looking for 500hp. I also emailed them to ask if it would work with vista since everything is vista now he said that he thinks it will still work but he was probably going to buy vista and see if he can get it set up.

Im going the ECU + route also, in the next few months.

If you want someone with experience and who has it on a 2g DSM
just look up Allgripnoslip <------- tuners account name, ask him how he likes it.

Im impressed by it, and it has presets you can save and store like AMS EMS and drop down menus for injector size

Looks golden and you will be hearing a review after it is installed and I have some experience tuning on it.
