What's The Most Nitrous You Would Spray On a 420a with stock internals and minor mods such as intake, headers, full exhaust, msd ignition, u/r pulley

Myself personally none. You are gonna add a lot of heat and stress on a motor not designed for it.

Are you using a wet kit or dry?

well im not sure if you would want to spray any ON it, but rather IN it. are you wanting fast and furious speed or to see how fast you can blow it up? depending on what path you choose its to hard to tell without the info

more details needed for example: built motor or stock? wet or dry? how many miles are on your motor now? have you had a compression test?

Yes it has been tested and the compression was fine.

I want just a little more speed and no not F&F style ..

and I'll be using a wet kit for sure.

None, you dont want to blow the welds on the manifold...

but seriously... if you havent done anything to the engine to take the added stress of nitrous, then dont do it.... you will most likely suck a valve or jump time...

I've seen a 115 shot to stock internals, it had I/H/E apex... Crazy wheel spin ! but it ended up blowing up the intake manifold... is that funny or what!? TRUE STORY.... it was not on my car BTW

I sprayed a 75 shot on stock internals for a while and never had an issue, you just need to make sure your jets are right. Best to get on a dyno and tune the fuel jet instead of running what it comes with. On the built motor a did a 150 shot...it was fun

Stock internals, no more than 75 wet with the best grade gasoline or E85. Get MS, too. You'll be able to tune your fuel maps so you don't detonate your pistons.

The most I would spray on a stocker? I don't know, maybe 200 shot and see what happens

What would I recommend? 75 shot with a on/off switch and a window switch set at 4-4.5k (depending on your driving habits).

I would not spray anything over a wet 75 shot. I ran a ZEX kit for years with pills from 35-75 and did not have any ill effects or high speed disassemblies.

I doubt it blew up a cast aluminum intake manifold, but it did probably hurt the motor.

MB suggested a window switch, which is a good idea. The ZEX kit used a TPS switch which was user programmable. I had mine activate at 35% of the maxium TPS voltage (5v max IIRC, it has been over 5 years).
