So im looking to build a 2.0 long rod motor 156mm rods and stroker pistons and so many choices for brands nowadays from Europe and the USA!

so back way way in the day my original plan many moons ago was this

crank was a knife edge but cannot remember brand! might of been an AMS crank or magnus even
rods were pauter X beams
pistons were venolia i think

fast forward a few years back 2016 possibly the build idea was
callies crank full counter weight ( billet)
callies enforcer or oliver rods
venolia pistons ( since found out back in 2019 venolia no longer excist!

so in europe we have so many brands from bridgeway and wossner and cosworth and a few others. of course some might of never heard of some or doubtful of them being used in the USA since the US has th most amount of aftermarket parts going really right at your door step almost!

currently as of 2022 my ideal choice is the callies crank (FCW) with oliver rods and wiseco pistons!

i know you have 300m manley rods and such but not sure if i require that since my power levels wont be high enough to warrant those EVER haha
The head will be built to withstand about 11k rpm but i will only be going to about 9k of there abouts so have to make sure the crank and rods can stand up well to the rotation speeds and loads

with the pistons thats the confusing part as i dont want high wearing pistons but most of the pistons are that 2618 grade material and these are stronger but wear faster and also can have a piston slap effect until warm!
4032 is less slappy but is not as strong but wears far less.
As this is a short time racing engine and not currently endurance would the 4032 be better? note that I also do still use it on the roads too so while im building this for high revs in racing i want it to be reliable and less wear on the parts.

let me know your thoughts on todays offerings and if i have over looked a company and link it in.
