whats the best wideband?

Im looking at buying a wideband and was curious what brands are good and what ones to stay away from that work good with dsm link.

Agree to disagree.. both are good widebands. Use either.

i use the mtx-l and i love it, i have it in the rear o2 spot for now so it's got a small delay but it's easy to calibrate, easy to install and works perfectly and it logs into link perfectly.

I also have the MXTL didnt have a clue what I was doing as far as install, Love it so far... hardest part was simulate front 02 but if I can do it anyone can...I recommend for sure.

Yes, that's what I'm doing. I'll sell my AEM to some ricer Honda kid and recoup some cash.

I actually pulled my AEM to switch to the Innovate.

This is on my to do list as well.

Ive had no issues with my UEGO, and i like the fact that its digital. I have an AEM digital boost gauge too, its all in preference.

How are you dealing with the sensor lag?

Ok, seeing as how most recommend using the Innovative widebands, I have an additional question. The LC-1(what ECMTuning recommends and use in their shop car) does have the option of a gauge. But the gauge does not seem to have the "sweep" LED's(green-red) that the AEM UEGO does. Is the LC-1 compatible with any other gauge?

If you want the sweep gauge for some reason (not sure why as the number is what's important), get the Innovate XD-16 gauge.

I have poor peripheral vision and the LED sweep would help me in spotting any lean or rich conditions under WOT.

But Ill check out that gauge.

If you've got the money I would recommend the zeitronix zt-2 with the LCD display. You can hook all your gauges up to the display and runs very smooth with dsmlink

I really like the ZT-2 setup. I use it with their programmable multi-gauge, which can display any two items at once (inner number and outer LED sweep), as well as peak/hold, etc. I use it to display WB, lambda, MAP, and EGT.

I really like the NGK Powerdex AFX.
Comes with the better of the ngk sensors that normally costs around $150 alone.

I would have said lc-1 but i cant. I know many others have had success with it but after 2 months my gauge stopped matching link. I ran extra grounds everywhere and dedicated SHARED power and grounds for the ecu and lc-1 unit and gauge: no luck. The gauge reads almost 1 point richer. The box must be messed up. I have ran lmconfig many o times and know exactly how and what its supposed to be set to.
That said, im an anomaly, most, nearly all, have no complaints. When i get a new one, im sticking with innovative but think i may go with the mtx l instead. Ivew been too busy to call them but ive heard they stand behind theyre products really well and hopefully ill get a new lambda box(or whatever its called)
