What's included in 60k service?

Hi all, just bought a 97 GS and joined the forum today... My new baby has 76k on it now...I want to do the 60K service and just wondering that is included in it? As far as I know it involves timing belt and tensioners...is there anything else?

correct me if i'm wrong, but i don't believe the n/t engines have the same maintenance schedules that the turbo ones do. i think the timing belt and such can wait until around 100k, like most cars

Well tho owner's manual says it's okay to go to 100,000, but god the idea gives me shivers.

I'd do the whole belt job just on the basis of the years that belt's been around.

that's what the salesperson told me, no need to change until 100K so I guess I am good for another year or so...will definitely change it around 85K tho. Thanks guys

The manual tells you when you should do the maintenance, i change my t-belt every 60k or everytime the motor is out, its just to much of an invest me to be lazy and procrastinate. 60k is normally water pump, t-belt, oil pump, blah blah
