I think this is appropriate for anyone new for engine management systems. I was wondering good knowledgeable books for tuning that I could buy on amazon. There is a book right here in this link. Is this worth buying or is there more books available? Or is there a guide/book besides manual for the megasquirt system? I tried looking this is what I got.:hmm: Amazon.com: Engine Management: Advanced Tuning (9781932494426): Greg Banish: Books

I haven't read that book. I did read Amazon.com: How to Tune and Modify Engine Management Systems (Motorbooks Workshop) (9780760315828): Jeff Hartman: Books . Great book and really has helped me understand OEM engine management and how to modify and tune it. I highly recommend it. Though not engine managment related I also very, very highly recommend http://www.amazon.com/Maximum-Boost-Turbocharger-Engineering-Performance/dp/0837601606/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1321033159&sr=1-1. I consider it the definitive book on turbocharging Corky Bell is a legend for a reason.

you're on it dude....LOL. Honestly forums are a very good source to learn tuning especially because you can learn from something from other people's mistakes. And you can find forums for most any type of tuning systems, anything from just a maf translator to safc, mega squirt or even dsm link.
