2G whats a deep/best sounding exhaust system?

I have an Espelir JGT500 3" catback on my car right now, running no CAT. It is very deep. Loud when you want it to be.

I was parked outside a random house, and had this 70+ year old man come outside to talk to me. "Sorry to bother you, it sounded like a ferrari was outside my house or something. Thought I would take a look" :D

Got a video? :D

I am looking for a new exhaust and I wanted a Greddy exhaust for my gsx but can't seem to find one.

Thermal turbo back is what I got . Best street exhaust on the market

I love my apexi exhaust. To add a deep tone to any exhaust you should consider having a couple exhaust resonators. They are a straight through design they will add depth to your exhaust and will remove the "ricey" tones. My apexi has 2.

quote: "Exhaust resonators are usually add-on features in exhaust systems. They are placed together with the mufflers along the exhaust pipe and work primarily to decrease exhaust noise. The exhaust noise passes through the resonating chamber, which in turn tunes the sound to cause destructive interference in order to be canceled out by the opposite sound waves."

Thermal R&D is a great sounding exhaust. Deep tone. But it is pricey.

Cheaper route: Buy a QTP Electric cutout. Put it after the flex and before the cat. Sounds awesome, and helps with spool-up.

Or just have an exhaust shop bend up a nice 3" straight pipe for your car. Won't pass inspection though :notgood:

CUTOUT! sounds the best and then keep a stockish style exhaust for quite times
Welcome to DMH Performance!
thats where i got my cutout

I agree, but... be prepared to wait forever, and if you expect any predictable communication with him forget it.

I'm on my 2nd cutout from DMH after the first one failed. He did honor the warranty and replaced it, but it took 3 months and a complaint with the Cincinnati BBB to get it done. And he still never responded via phone or email in any way. He said to return it to him (back in May) and I did...and that was the last I ever heard from him. The new cutout just showed up on my door out of the blue a couple of weeks ago with no notice, explanation or anything else.

I do really like the cutout a lot... but FWIW, he has an "F" rating with the BBB with at least 5 complaints filed against him. So, go there at your own risk.

When I was looking around to buy my cutout I had heard rumors of this. About the bad customer service from DMH. Thats why I went with QTP and couldn't have been happier. Great cutout and still works flawlessly after 2 1/2 years
