What would be my best bet on a fmic

I see that ets has a sale on for intercoolers atm and Ive heard that they produce some really amazing intercoolers. Its either pay 600 for his intercooler or go the ebay route for one. My goal is to get 400hp just for now. I just got a thermal full exhaust, o2 housing dump off, An purishment racing 3" downpipe, 16g evo3, An built head not sure what size cams. Thats all I have so far. Need to get a air intake i think I can get the whole setup at auto zone, Also plan to get some ngk wires and spark plugs. Am I going in right direction?? An If you have a better idea on a fmic I should get please give link or tell me name. Trying to have all the parts here at same time so I can get done all at once.

Basically you have eBay fmic that are stupid cheap because they are stupid cheap, then you have medium priced stuff like the Punishment Racing or VRSF kit which have mixed reviews, but are generally pretty value for money. Then you have the top of the line ETS and Bushur kits which will give you the best fit, finish, and performance, but cost the most. It's really up to you what you want to spend, but I would look at finding a used ETS or Bushur kit so you have the best quality at a decent price.

As far as mods, I think your on the right track. Next after or even before the fmic would be fuel system and tuning IMO.

K and I am pretty sure he upgraded the fuel system already I am not sure I havent looked at it yet but he had car running on 20 psi so Im sure he did something to upgrade to be running that high. Ill ###### go with the ets fmic since he gots them on sale at the moment.

I would look into the ETS kit, they are having a sale for $499 shipped for there street kit which is an amazing deal.

Depends on how much hp and money you wanna spend.You should be fine with the street kit if more daily driver.

ETS is a fantastic product. Got one (the street kit) my Talon and absolutely love it. The street one is really all you'll need if the car is a daily driver.

400hp I would get the ETS Street if you have the extra money to spend, or the VRSF.

Ok Yea I am pretty sure I am going to get. Seems like more then a fair price to me. After I get fmic what you think should be my upgrades from their??

Also I am looking for a exhaust manifold, that will connect with the 3' punishment racing downpipe anyone got a good one to recommend?

An Its 605 for the racing kit, The 499 is for a 1g. I just called to find out. I was also looking for Punishment racing fmic and it doesnt look to bad either.If you guys were in my shoes and your going for 400 hp later on which would you get?? I got a little bit of cash left over I could buy either one but how does the punishment racing compare to the ets??

ETS is better hands down.

I would get ECMLink after that. My fmic and Link are the best things I've bought for my car.

I know its better but 407 for punishment and 605 for ets... Not looking to exceed past 400 hp which would you choose??

I already said what I'd do, and that's find an ETS or Bushur kit used. That's how I got my Bushur kit.

You shouldn't have a issue with it bolting up.Best would to just call and ask them, I am sure they would know.

It all matters if your in a rush and how much money you have to spend, if your in a rush and dont want to spend 500 plus dollors get a punishment kit or vr speed kit, one of my friends is push over 600 wheel on the vr speed kit..Now if your not in a rush I"d take my time and wait for someone to post up a used ets kit or buscher kit only because its made with better quality metal"s and most of important ets/ buschers fmic flow much better, there for you will see a incresses in spool and power with a the better fmic... Its your call
