well first off, to keep it "street legal" all you have to do is check and comply with your emission regulations for your state (if any)

and now as far as wires go most of them are for sensors to keep your engine going right in conjunction w/your ECU, unless you have dsmlink or equivalent you can mod it to remove some sensors if necessary, as far as street legal i think you have a misconception of what that means. i would leave all wires connected to components that you do have, minus the parts you are removing ofcourse.

i just noticed you are in cali, worst state for emissions LOL that sucks bro, i heard you cant even lower your car unless you pay and have a shop do it and have name brand suspension to keep it legal, is this true?

I don't think that suspension stuff is law here, either that or the cops aren't doing their job very well:D

haha mostly but not the lowering part!
And one funny thing out here in southern cali..most smog shops are run by certified green card holders haha. put your money in the right places and we can run ALMOST any car we'd like. ..not that i support this.. but yeah, haha.:thumb:

Here's a few posts of what my brother and I did to his harness. Keep in mind, we don't have emissions on our cars, so we are able to do more than you will. But you should be able to figure out what is needed for emissions and whatnot and what you should be able to get rid of.
