hey guys i wanted to ask what should i do for maintenence on my '97 GSX because i am closely approaching 100k miles. what should i replace, what should i rebuild, what should i flush out? any help would be much appreciated thanks. :thumb:

As long as you perform your regular scheduled maintenence then you should be fine. If anything I would perform a compression test to see if a rebuild is warranted.

You could always do a restoration. Like replacing all rubber mounts, hoses etc. and repaint any suspension parts that have rust on them. Also repainting the underbody will ensure a long life.
I plan on doing a full restoration around 115 or 120.

I agree, the 100,000 mile mark is a good time to perform some needed maintenence. However, hopefully you've been keeping up with your DSM's needed repairs/maintenence so there is not that much to do. Make sure all belts are in good condition, check the oil and all other fluids, and maybe change the plugs and wires if that hasn't been done in while. Good luck!
