I'm the only owner of this car and I must say that it has served me well. Today I've reached 100,000 miles, never had any problems with it besides having a blown turbo. 13 years it's been running strong, I would like to keep it that way for more years to come. Should I get my engine rebuilt or just keep on doing my normal maintenance? Someone point me to the right direction??? Thanks!!!!

Test the compression, and inspect your oil for metal shavings. If both are fine, then there is no reason to rebuild your motor.

Keep up the regular maintenance. :thumb:

no, it is not broken just broke pass 99,999 miles. :) when i first purchased the car i placed it in storage for years. when i pulled it out of its hiding, i changed all of the fluids and replaced the battery. from there i used her as my daily vehicle for the next 5 years. she then sat in storage again and then was shipped to italy, where i currently lived. i'm so satisfied with this car that i bought an m5 bmw and barely used it. call me freak but i like to keep my cars with low mileage as possible. thats my story and she is strong!!!!

I would say UPGRADE EVERYTHING.... not really.

But my crank pulley went like 3 weeks ago, so since you have more miles than me... did you replace that yet? Might as well replace the fuel pump & O2 sensors just to get a lil more out of your car.

i replaced all of the belts, brake fluids, hoses, silicone hoses on my intercooler and turbo. i think i need to change my timing belt, last was changed 50,000 miles ago. kevlar or oem timing belt?

its hard to tell on timing belts when its going to break, im not waiting for that day to happen.

yes, all of the fluids have been changed. i guess i better start using the "search" on how to change timing belt. :)
