I was looking at my logs and I did some reading and got varying information. In my logs im seeing anywere from 203-206 degrees just driving around. When I do a hard pull the temp will go as high as 212. There are times when im in high boost the temp gauge will creep past half way and quickly fall back below half way. I have a mishimoto aluminum radiator for cooling and a new waterpump. My coolant is clear and has no signs of contamination. Have any of you guys experienced this. Im pushing the stock headbolts to 22-23 psi on a fp green.I was worried I might be pushing coolant or lifting the head. Ive heard that the 6 bolts head studs are very strong in comparison to 7 bolt. I am also running 50/50 meth injection with conservative timing so my Iats are cool.

Summertime mine ranges from 206-212 in normal everyday driving. Stock radiator and fan, no a/c fan, Evo radiator cap, and OE thermostat. My car has a 16g and an FMIC.

Before I installed a cut-out and ducting between the FMIC and radiator, my car would get up to 225 degrees on the highway. I set ecmlink to flash the cel at 225 so I would know when to blast the heater to bring the temperature down (otherwise it would just keep getting hotter).

Your temps seem normal and the car isnt overheating, so don't worry. DSMs were probably designed from the factory to run at 210 degrees. You want the coolant this hot, as anything lower than 200 and the car is leaving it's efficiency zone.

Your temps don't seem to crazy. Here in Florida in high 90 degree ambient temperature my 2G with a VRSF front mount, mishimoto X-line radiator, and passenger side spal fan, and a crappy slim drivers side fan I see betwee. 200 and 210 with my AC on. During a hard pull at full boost it will climb up to 225 and then go down as I cruise.

Here are some default values the 2G ecu uses relating to coolant temperature.
Enter ECU Learn Mode :: 180F (82C)
Coolant Fan ON LOW :: 210F (99C)
Pull 1 degree timing :: 206F (97C)
Pull 2 degree timing :: 224F (107C)
Coolant Fan ON HIGH :: 224F (107C)
Enter Open Loop Mode :: 228F (109C)
Default Coolant CEL :: 235F (113C)
A/C Override :: 240F (115C)

Ok that makes me feel better, I'm running mishimoto slim fans on all the time. I'm gunna make some ducting to channel the air better. The fp black goes on wed with the new external setup. Gunna push it as far as I can as safe as I can for as long as I can.....
