What takes more juice to run, an A/C fan or a cooling fan?

I suck when it comes to elecrtical issues. I currently only run a cooling fan, I basically have stage 0 mods. I want to have 2 fans that kick on at the same time, so I was going to just get another A/C fan from the junk yard to do it, but then I thought why not get another cooling fan if it will work better (I didnt see a clearance issue just glancing at it, but I could be wrong). But I didnt know if running 2 coolings fans simultaneously would kill my charging system.

Only reason I want to do this is because my stock temp gauge always stayed at exactly half way, and I just hooked my heater core back up and now the needle goes up to the right just enough to clear the little thermoter icon on the display. (Ill get a pic of exactly where) The car doesnt overheat even when running it harder, the needle just stays put, but I like the insurance of seeing it in the middle like usual.
 
People run 2 fans all the time with no issues. Right now I run two slimline fans set to turn on when the key is in the "on" position via DSMLink.

I was gonna run 2 of the big ass old stock cooling fans though, is that still fine?
 
Yes, again with DSMLink people run both fans on all the time to help with cooling issues. The only thing is that if you have the fans set to turn on when the key is in the "on" position you have to remember not to leave it there. I've killed more than one battery by doing things like that.:coy:
