I have had my Rs up to 140 plenty of times, top speed so far is about 145ish. I also have a beretta GTZ which i would much rather race in anytime. Speedo goes to 120 but i am doing about 125 when i shift outa 4th and i am hitting anywhere from 145-150 EASY in this car.

Dude, i went from a 5 speed to an auto for a very simple and practical reason. (trust me i am not happy about it) criminal speeding tickets in Arizona cost you out the @$$. my driving record is in shambles.......
I got the auto because the whole car was in fine shape and it was a thousand bucks. (later became a 6 thousand dollar car, of course.
-And so far, it has kept me out of trouble around town. I used to like to zip in and out through traffic and burn the tires up and all that, but that costs money too.
- SO basically, i know me. I know i can't afford to have a suspended license.
-therefor, i looked more seriously into finding an automatic when i was hunting around for another car.
-but still, i have a shift kit and an endclutch power pack.. the tranny is mich nicer now and i like the way it performs without having to take all the extra time under excelleration to shift gears.
-Autos can be fast too.. it's just more fun to shift the gears. I wish i had a stick so i could bang through all 5 at the end of a hard day, but not all of us could be so lucky.

does anyone else have the probelm of it getting too 100 without a problem, but once it gets past like 103 or so it just stops accelorating and stays at like 103?

I am calling BS on this. I think the top speed for the 420a is somewhere around 135. You need at least an I-6 or a turbo to hit 150

What? Man I had my NT at 210km/h when it was stock, and now I've done 225km/h, I have intake, muffler, wires, and plugs, and some thermal wrapping.

Is the US versions slower or what?
Up here in Canada these Talons are nicely fast

After i got done watching some drag racing at Moroso dragway i was heading back home on the Beeline highway and I wanted to see how fast i could get my car up to so i punched it and a few seconds later i was doing about 125, had to slow down an intersection was coming up.

i have a 95 n/t completely stock in less that a mile i got to 90 in fourth gear.... no big deal tho


ohh doesn't the eclipses of my year have a speed limiter to 135 or something like that?

mine topped out at 142 tonight....it was completely done...all out of juice

I had my stock, 93 Talon ES up to 125 on the interstate whit some guy in a banged up BMW 3 series right behind me. I was still picking up speed but had to get off the interstate. Probably would have hit 130-135. When I first got my car, it had problems going over 100, now it'll hit 90 on an on-ramp to the interstate.

Got my GS up to 120mph in 4th, and shifted to fifth to about 125mph untill i came up on some cars and had to stop. that was when i only had my catback on

I have had mine up to about 145ish, All I know is I drove 120miles in a little less than a hour. I like to zip in and outta traffic also. I got pulled over by a unmarked HP car. He trapped me doing 89 in a 45. I knew the guy so he just gave me a warning ticket. I have a hard time with the cops in my area but im friends with most of them so I usally get a warning. But I am affraid of the MAN jacking my DL. If i lost my DL I would kick my own ass. I cant stand not driving. O it would cost me $3,200 for 6 months of full coverage on my car. only 780 for 6 months of liability. And I have never been in a wreck were I was driving. ####ing Robbery is what it is

, there are so many replies, but they are all in 5th gear, I never take mine up that far in 5th cause of my tires, but I can easily hit 125 in 4th. I don't know what all of your other problems are.
