What speed does your NT max out at?

My 420a got me up to 140mph at around 6000rpms....I know it can go more if it had alittle more power....I'm pretty impressed with my 420a...Too bad im aimng for a Japanese 4g63t swap in the near future

on a str8 road around 4am with no cars... i know for sure i was doing 135 mph could have did more in 5th gear but the red and blue lights behind me made me slow up rather quickly

4th g. 91-i've only take it to 120, feels like it has more but for some reason when i get past 100 my g/f starts hitting me on the shoulder, damn women , dont they kno im jus testin out my car

really i got out of the ticket i told the cop i was testing my car out... i told him i added new things under the hood and he said he has a kid that does the same thing...he just told me to buy a radar detector and he let me go

Damn dude!!..I can't believe you got out of that one wihtout a bitching...last time i got pulled over..which was at 120mph..i got a half an hour lecture about tickets and going to jail and other things of that nature....I left there with my tail in my a$$ and scared to ever pass 40mph again....

127 bone stock, slowed down cuz at night bike racks look like lightbars from 200 feet away. mine was still pulling nicely, not sure of rpms. was racing a trans-am (v-6) he was playing with me hehe.

ouch on the 120 ticket. my worst was 91 in a 45 zone almost 200 miles from home, i freaked out and told the cop i was try to catch up to my family and that i didnt know my way home. he looked at my license nad actually let me off with neglegant (sp?) driving instead of wreckless! $361 ticket i wont soon forget.

i have a 95 RS.....WHY the F*ck my car cant go no more than 100mph..its like it jsut stop there..is there something wrong with my car....my freinds said..that the older model 95 96 n/t has a speed limiter on some of them..that max out of 100 and someone else told me..i sold change my transmission fluid...and some said that i have heavy rims..thats not makn my car pull....so tell me wuts wrong

, what is wrong with you peeps cars, mine only has an intake and I hit 125 no prob, I'm running bald 112mph rated tires, so I don't try that all the time, nor have I treid for anything higher. this was done in 4th, who knows how far I can take it in 4th, and what 5th holds

I telling you...On a 420a......you can take it to 140mph.....I've reach that many times....Plus my engine is bone stock....Not even an intake....So with mods i doubt the 420a will pass that...but im almost certain it'll get there faster....

You right. If I hadn't have chickened out, i could've hit 140. I mean, these cars cruise at 110, but after that, it felt really rough.

check your balance on your tires, and check your shocks. Mine rides smooth and cruises at 120, or it used to, not I have bad shocks, so its a little rough.

I got a Tein damper kit on mine with a tie bar(still waiting on those damn Struts ) & my car is riding smooth as hell all the way up to 140.... You should try checking them out...its worth the price..trust me....

Yeah, I have bizzare rims that don't have a lip to mount any balance weights on them. Not even my autoshop instructor could figure them out. plus my alignment is off

Any engine can be installed into any car.....The only factor tht affects that is time and money....How much are you willing to spend? Obviously not as much as i would....

i had my bone stock laser up to 125 easy. that's with bad tires, a cracked header, and a sticky e-brake. there's a funny story behind this too. i was stopped at a light just outside town behind a semi truck. i looked to go around it and didn't see anyone coming, so i shot out around the truck. when i looked in my rearview, there was a pissed off guy riding my bumper. a little ways up the road, it merged from two lanes to one so i shot around a couple slower vehicles and continued my cruise without thinking about the guy i accidently cut off. a few minutes later, i see him whip around the guy behind me and was gaining on me quickly. i thought to myself, "oh crap, he's really pissed." so i dropped it down a gear and took off! the guy pursued me in excess of 100mph for quite some time around curvy roads just outside of town. then i made a right turn and headed for a little village. the guy was still chasing me. he was insane! i ended up losing him in a large neighborhood thanks to my nimble handling. he couldn't keep up around and out of sharp corners with his ford contour. it was absolutely crazy! but i must admit, it was a LOT of fun! my college roomate was in the car and i think it was the first time he had ever ridden with me! he never made a peep until we were out of the car again!

anyways, i'd like to take another stab at my top speed in the near future. i've added some minor mods, and have some more parts sitting in my garage. i'm not going to do it again though until i get my new header put on. oh, and uh, don't tell my girlfriend. she doesn't like me driving over 90mph on the highway!:thumbdown

i was just out on us 27 the other day, and i got to 120 in 4th (Automatic) @4500 i was gonna take it all the way to 7k but i saw a cop pullin someone over ahead of me ,

Is there a govener on the 95-99 n/t autos? If so, how do u take it off?
