What speed does your NT max out at?

My car maxed out at about 120 before any mods. Now i can go 125 real easy but i haven't maxed out my car yet with the mods. I'm too affraid of getting another reckless driving ticket. I already have 2 of them.
 
The judge went easy on me the first time and let me off. I paid $250 and they dropped it. I have court this thursday for the second one, but this time it wasn't my falt. The first time it was but this time the cop was just being a dick. He even took me to jail and I had to get bailed out for $310.

The reason I know this??? Last time I got my car dynoed we did the run in 4th gear.I had him print out the graph for hp at mph.If anyone is in vegas and has a scanner,e-mail me and we can post the dyno sheets.

I think they have one at UNLV if you go there if not I do........
 
I've had her up to 110 when some dumb@$$ with an escort tailgated me (when I was going 85 in a 55) then cut me off. WTF?? Had to teach him and his shocked gf what DSMs can do.
 
I topped my 1991 Eclipse RS out @ 126mph in 4th with two passengers and a weekend of clothes/stuff in the hatch on I-5 north. That is the fastest I feel my 185/70/14's should ever go. Now she is dead, and I can't try it solo. Oh well:dsm:
 
115mph and at about 4000rpm. couldn't figure it out. didn't top out, just couldn't get it going much faster. it's got 143,000 miles on it, that hurts a little. not bad though for an automatic cruising through New Mexico one afternoon with a friend.
 
I managed around 130mph. About that time I got passed by a 540i. Made me look like I was doing 30. :dsm:
 
i got up to about 133 on I-90 on my way to cleveland. i was messing with some guy driving a bullit stang, and of course he toasted me. whatever, it was still fun
 
can you enter change all laser, eclipse, and talon parts. JW cuz im having a hard time finding parts for my 92 laser. Thanks:)
 
what about on an automatic? yea i have one, mods are slim - intake and exhaust, so what have u guys topped out at? i have a 97 esi
 
Ive been 120 in my third gear... (4th) or overdrive is gone...*smirk* a lil hard on the gas I guess.... yeah but 3rd gear goes on for ever... Ive been up 115 in just over a mile no problem... an when I spray... 110 in about a mile.... or under....
 
i hit 146 +/- 1 or 2 mph manual though not auto
 
I dont know what my top speed is on my 1.8 - I dont wan't to push my new motor because im worried what it will do.
 
i havent maxed out yet with my 95 rs... but i just wanted to know if your guy's car are the same in gears... my 1st gen is as follows...

1st g. 0-25
2nd g. 25-45
3rd g. 45-75
4th g. 75 up

now my 95 rs is like...

1st g. 0-40
2nd g. 40-65
3rd g. 65 up...

the problem on my rs, is that my rpm tach dosent work... so i dont know when im at redline, still learning the feel and sound of the 420a engine though. but it's way different then my 4g63... what are your guy's best shifting rpm time, and dose anyone know how i can fix or check why my rpm tach isnt working? lmk thanks!:confused:

ive been 146 at 6000 rpms before i went turbocharged, but i was juiced. proably some were near that now, but probly not as long to get there ;)
 
I have a 1.8 and I've hit 110 in 5th gear. Maxed out there. Felt like I had left the ground tho. :) Not had car long, just added a K&N and a new downpipe. Haven't tried since then tho it won't make a difference.
 
Dang, cant believe there was that much wrote about my post...LOL...Anyway, heres an update on my car....I fried the motor when I dropped the clutch at 8000rpm...Car jumped 4 timing teeth piston nailed the valve and broke a rod....Needless to say, I've got to get another motor....Oh yea...I had another encounter with the highway patrol and outrun his ass...hahaha. Time for me to get another motor. I'm gonna get a turbo car and switch the motor and ecu into my car...Anyways...have a good one.

I have maxed my 1999 RS at 120mph.
With absolutely no mods.
i believe my car is governed since my RPM's are cut off.
