Ok guys for some reason my last post got deleted for what ever reason I have not been given one so I don't know what I did. I need help I cant find where I can find tuning software for my set up I have no clue about tuning I kinda understand a bit of it. I know of safc, but don't know what it is just read that a lot of people use it and would probably be my best bet, I know of DSM link but cant afford it and dont think I need it right now or in the future this this car, and I know of aem and a few others.

here is my set up

Ported 14b
ported cylinder head
ported 2g manifold and 2g O2 housing
hard pipe inter cooler kit with type s BOV
stock injectors
stock fuel pump and FPR
EPROM ecu

and every thing else is stock

If safc is my best bet because all I want to do with this car really is pump the boost up past WGP because that's where its at now, I know I need a 255wally, injectors, AFPR, boost gauge, and wide band. But my issue is what does SAFC do how does it work will it allow me to do what I need to do to turn up the boost up to lets say 22psi with supporting mods. I will be reading up on the SAFC and how it works but I need the help with will it do what I need it to.

You will need 650cc injectors to run that amount of boost with lower injector duty cycles(<----you want this), i'm running 23psi on my clipped 14B and my injector duty cycles are at 96%(bad) with 550cc injectors. The SAFC allows you to minipulate the mass air flow sensor into thinking there is more air coming into the intake system, allowing you to turn up the boost. The ECU thinking there is more air = The ECU adding more fuel. Roughly. There are more functions, but thats the main idea with it.

Just save your money for DSMLink V3 Lite. You really wont regret it. The car will run so much better.

So if I run 20 psi I can get away with 550s and a 255, will the stock fpr work for the time being? I will eventually get link when i get my taxes maybe but can I get away with the SAFC just for the time being. I just want to pump it up a little.

I am going to eventually get an AWD but until then I don't want to spend money on this GST I have already put a lot of money into it just trying to get the motor back together and fixing all of the shit the people hacked up.

Yes, but might as well do it right rather than have too go back and redo. You'll need a wide band and some sort of logger. Yes 550's and a 255 will be sufficient, but its advised by a lot to get an afpr. I personally don't run an afpr with my 255 and have had no problems, but will be picking one up soon just for safe measures. You should just go link, stating that you're going awd has nothing too do with anything, tuning/fuel mods can be transfered to either or.
 
I know this but if I am going to get an AWD I am going to keep this as my DD but dont want it to be a p u ssy either. So I have been looking around and I am going to probably going to get with my taxes 750s, a 255, AFPR, DSMLINK, a wide band, boost controller and gauge.
