There is close to nothing on a stock Mitsubishi in our years that cannot be gotten with a wrench of 8, 10, 12, 14, 17, 19, 22 mm.

Things that cannot be 'wrenched' with those sizes are either the few items that are specialized for the U.S. like license plate mountings or aftermarket parts that use the more common U.S. size metric nuts -- for an m8x1.25 bolt, a 13mm head rather than Mitsubishi's 12mm head and for an m10x1.25 bolt an m16 (I think?) head rather than Mitsus' 14mm head.

One of the pleasures of Mitsu cars is being able to pick up the right couple of wrenches for the job from memory or just a quick look. The Mitsu sizes are out there if you add 'JIS' (Japan Industrial Standard) to your search phrase: "M8 flange nut JIS"

I keep a few of the JIS sizes and replace those SOB sizes anywhere I find 'em.
