What should my vaccum read on my boost guage for a 90gsx at idle?

Alright I must have a vaccum leak somewhere. Right now it's reading 12.

Yea my 90 with 103k on it stock had 17HG cold and 19 hot. Also vacume tells you engine condition.

Mine only produced 12 in/hg with the exhaust cam 1 tooth off and 160 compression. Now it is fixed and 18 in/hg with 175 compression. Still ran fine either way.

I pull anywhere from 20-22lb vacuum

Well I just bypassed the purge control solenoid valve, and fuel pressure solenoid, now vaccum is at 20. So it must be somewhere in there.

Good deal. Get a new turbo and new valve guides and seals to cure your oil consumtion and it will be like brand new. Yea that compression sounds great glad to hear the motor is ok!!

hey guys, when you check your vacuum is the needle steady in one spot? mine fluctuates really but not very far, like it will fluctuate between 18 and 19 really fast.

Make sure your vac line isn't being kinked, and that you're not hooked up at the throttle body. Use the line at the fuel pressure regulator.
