What should the boost gauge read on..

A 1995 Eagle Talon Tsi?


The car has both the stock one and an aftermarket one. I just want to make sure that its holding good boost.


I just want to know what it should read at certain gears and shiftpoints, so I know if its spooling and boosting to full pressure or not. Thanks

well, pay no attention to your stock one cuz it's no good. not sure what stock boost is on a 2g. i wanna say 10-12 psi though? someone correct me if i'm wrong.

I searched and came up with 14psi but I just want to make sure this car is boosting currently through the gears and everything with the car is working properly.

well then, as long as it's not spiking bad or boost creeping, then you're fine.

On the 2g your looking at 14psi. Thats what mine runs stock and everyone else that I know. If you do install a boost controller do not take it over 16 on the 25. Just for future referance.

My friends 2g fluctuated alot but its seems to be normal with the t-too small. His first spiked to 16, dropped to 14, and by redline was down to about 12psi as the turbo was running out of air. My 1g was a fairly constant 11-12psi for comparison.
