What should I get

So I will be deploying soon and while im gone I am going to start buying performance mods. Before I leave I will fix all my little problems and get a strong foundation. My goals are to have anywhere from 300 - 350 hp to the wheels so what should I buy that will get me to that? Which injectors, fuel pump, turbo, etc? Thanks for your advice.

An aftermarket intake isnt really necessary as the stock one will still be sufficient for your goals. A buddy of mine is making well over 450 whp on the stock mani. Also like the guy above me said, a 20g(similiar to a 50 trim) would also work for your set up. And you could still use a stock or any mitsu flanged exh manifold. These guys are also right on going for a bigger injector, maybe 1000s and DSMlink just for the future! The one thing on here that a bunch of people do go to ebay for is exhaust. A Megan downpipe and ebay cat back will run you somewheres around 300 plus or minus. No need for custom sh!ts.

no not intake manifold just a hard intake pipe as opposed to this rubber crap thats on there now. If I run a gm maf translator I can vent the bov right? Also I will look into the prices of the 20g. So I get a 3 inch downpipe and exhaust? The only thing that scares me about getting an ebay turbo is I don't want it to sound like a honda.

Intake pipe dejon tool look on the page fits great, thats the only thing ebay turbo concern you have you must a have missed ebay discussions. Get what you want but look at the dejon website.

I just sold these wheels I had for 300 bucks So I found a 3 in gm maf translator and gm maf for $120, should I get it? Does it just make it so I can vent my bov?

Pretty good price if you ask me! Is the only reason you want to vent because the dejon intake doesnt have the recirc port? I wouldnt worry about sounding like a honda from an ebay exhaust. Just look for good feeback and reputable sellers. Youd be supprised how many people on here have ebay cat backs.

This may sound like a noob answer but I want to vent it because I love the sound of the BOV

So that 20g is better than the evo 16g? Is it a direct bolt on to a 1g maifold? And the inlet is about the same size as the 14b?

TDO5H so yes, same housing different wheels. Don't take my word for it i might have skimmed through some shit so im not too sure.

The Maf-t and 3in GM MAS Should give you decent power. Get a wide band and logger so you can fine tune your car to perfection.

I have been researching it and it says if you have dsmlink you don't need a translator so I am going to hold off and wait to get dsmlink. Now I am just trying to find an intake and uicp

If you get the full version and the cavle 75 bucks, like i said call around for pricing, and see if you can get a deal on it. Thats the only way to run without the maf transltor im doing that then selling the translator, and my logger so ill make money to purchase link and stuff.

If I were you I would get the translator and just run v3 lite. Probly comes out cheaper.

there is absolutly nothing wrong with ebay parts. and i would rather build from the inside out because then later down the road if you want to add a freakin 36psi gt25 turbo you can cause guess what you have a built motor for it!!! ebay parts are fine to use because they are used with the same materials all others are. you can listen to someone who has blown up many motors from to big of turbos or someone who has no knowledge of internals and there standing rates. look bro put 350 hp on stock motor and run it hard for a year it will blow. put 350hp in internals and run it for 10 years and it still wont blow. do you get what im saying. everyone pay attension to what i just said cause its a good point and you no it!!! good luck!!!
