sorry. I missed a few posts there!I'd like to keep ethanol blends out of this thread. This is for people that don't have that readily available in the area.
How is that any different than not having race gas readily available in the area?
We have used Q16 on numerous occasions, and if your mixing fuels, we have found it doesn't like to be mixed with anything else.
Hal has a point...if you can get C16, you can get C85.
Yes you can run fuels with MTBE in them on your 1000s. I run q16 and swear by it. Another downfall it will evaporate over time. You also need to change your global
Fuel up 5% to get things lined up. It burns a tad leaner than c16.
The downside of E85 is that the mix varies with the season at most pumps.
Here in Colorado an E85 test kit is a must have if you get you E85 any where other than Hill Petroleum.
They don't have off season blends, it's E85 all year round (proven time and time again by actual testing).
All of the commercial stations will range from E70 to E85 depending on the time of the year.

This is epic. This car is your dd, so I'm assuming it's your only car?
Either way, it's going to be extremely expensive running it on C/Q16 all the time. It is also a huge pita to change fuels, you'll always have some 93 left in your tan, and that will extremely dilute your Q16 down when you only put 5 gal in at a time.
To raceme89, your best information outlet for injectors an compatible fuels is talking to FIC. I'll also say that most if not all oxyginated fuels contain MTBE
