that's a relatively nice spool for a garrett to4e 57 trim turboi. I have the same one, but it's a full garrett build. The 57 trim compressor map shows enough airflow to support 510 HP, but you'll never get near that with it on a 4g63. MY "overinflated" best numbers on a dynojet were 468/429 running it maxed out on C16 and adding the extra fuel my 550's didn't have by using a nitrouse fuel solenoid and fogger nozzle. I would say "real world" figures of what i made were probably about 430hp/390ft lbs, as that was teh best i can make now on e85 with larger cams and a lot of little changes. My best "pump gas tune" brought me 332hp/312 Ft/lbs at 20psi... Run it up to 30-32 and you might get to the 450 range with a good amount of supporting mods, a good tune and having EVERYTHING as free flowing as you can get it. For 600 horses you're going to need to step up big time on the compressor and turbine wheels.

And the above is probably true although i've never seen those kinda numbers ona 50trim they do work a lot better with our motors. The 57 trim came and went in the DSM workd. A few of us put them on, got dissapointed and changed turbos.

you should maybe look into selling it and using tha money towards an HX40,gt42r, or one of teh borg warner S series turbos with an extended tip compressor wheel..they are teh cat's meow!

what ever turbo i use it needs to handle 600 awhp and 10k and the turbo i have usally when u floor it it fully boosts instintainesly

im also going to port and polish it alot the last turbo i did that to it was a hole differnt turbo when done

i always try new things to see what makes the best power and curve

i have like a 80 mm front half i was thinking of machening the turbo down to fit the 80 do you think it would be better

kahl23 just watched youre vid your car is pretty evil not trying to be judge mental but your car would run about 11.500 if you shifted faster love your car bro

Thanks! That run was actually just a shakedown pass on the new setup. We managed to trash the head on the next pass with a 4-2 shift, a new head is in the works right now. Goal is 10's or bust on the 3052.

On the 11.92 pass it was 23psi on 93 pump running 10x:1 AFRs and no timing advance. I'm actually really sorry that we toasted the head, it was probably one of the last ones to come out of BJ's Cylinder Head Service before he dropped off the face of the earth and had some beautiful port work, that setup definitely had a high 10 in it with good tuning and driving. Hopefully the new head comes out just as good if not better though.
