What PSI do you make the most power with your EVOIII and 93 oct?

I was running 20 psi high and 15 low. Just didn't seem as fast as it should, so I lowered my boost to just 15 psi, upped the timing 3 degrees across the board and leaned out to a 11.0-11:5 air fuel. I'm now making as much power as I was with 20psi which is about 210hp according to dsmlink. I think I have room left for more boost, timing, and can probably lean it out some more. My timing was right around 19 at redline.

Just wondering what your settings are for 93 and an EVOIII.

BTW I have 190FP, 680s, FMIC, exhaust, intake, etc. Stock motor head and bottom end.

Peak power would probably be around 24psi if you could get away with it

Try 23psi and watch knock, if any take out some timing, I tuned my car to run at 11.5 on 94 octane. Make sure you have the hp props at 0% drivetrain loss to get the wheel hp. Also log 3rd or 4th to get good #. I usually log 4th 2500-7500rpm. If you get less then 1.5 or so deg/timing pulled out I wouldn't worry about it..

a richer tune with a better timing curve makes more power. Tuning is definately a work in progress. Take your time and let the but dyno do its thing. Unless, of course you can go to the track/dyno and see your results.

what is your air flow (lb/min). that is what i would go by not horse power figures. i get are 35-37 lb/min around 21psi on 94 octane.

I'm getting about 31 lb air at 20psi, but it was slow. Now I'm at 15 with more timing and leaned out with 93 and it's running great. Creeps slowly to 20 psi at redline but it's moving well now.
