so today i desided i was gonna install that new power steering cooler that i go, so i went down and bought some hoses, (they are like a mix between rubber and latex, but thinner, and a lot stronger feeling, forgot what its called, but it said it is temp resistant to 179 degrees and like 70 psi so i figured it would work, only stuff that was the right size...does it matter at all?) and went to install it... the thing needs 3/8 inch i.d. tubing, but i got 5/16s so it would be tight, and i knew i could take some needle nosed pliers and strech out the ends, which is want i did and that worked great.... but when i went to install i said,.... i dont feel like draining the fluid, lets just surround it with paper towels and do the job really fast, its worked before....
what type of power steering fluid should i use now that all the old power steering fluid i had is on the ground in my garage/in the trash outside of my garage?
